Module size, transport limits, crane access, and staging need to be resolved during design—not after production starts.
Delayed Approvals (State & Local)
Modular adds review layers that must be addressed early. Delays occur when designers don’t align state modular requirements with local AHJ expectations, or when Fire, life safety, or accessibility interpretations remain unresolved.
Design Changes After Production Starts
In modular, change doesn’t slow projects—it stops them. Late layout shifts, dimensional changes, or unplanned field conditions can trigger rework or rejected modules.
